The outdoor chapel was originally created in the 1950s. The benches were made from the trees that were cleared right there. It’s a very special place, kind of magical. A few years ago we spent the summer clearing the trail and the view, and rebuilding the benches and the altar.
From this highest spot on the property you can see the length of Bradley Lake and the whole Kearsarge range, an amazing and unique spot. "Where heaven meets the lake." is how Jo Crisp described it.
The benches are hewn from hemlock and a stone altar sits at the front.
The chapel is open-air and can seat about a hundred people. Many couples have chosen to use this spot for their wedding ceremony
